This end feed unit (KBA40ABT4W) is designed for the Canalis KBA busbar trunking, which is perfect for distributing lighting and power sockets. It supports a rated current of 40A at 35°C and works with voltages from 230VAC to 400VAC at 50/60Hz. This unit acts as the central mounting piece and clips onto the trunking on both sides. It can accept power cables with a maximum cross-section of 10 mm² and a maximum diameter of 19 mm (PG 21).

The unit includes 1 electrical circuit with 3L+N+PE polarity. It’s rated IP55 (according to IEC 60529), offering solid protection against dust and water splashes. It also has IK06 protection (IEC 62262), which means it’s resistant to external impacts. The unit measures 562 mm in length and 78.5 mm x 75.5 mm in size, and is made from white lacquered sheet steel (RAL 9003).

The Canalis KBA system meets the IEC/EN 61439-6 standard, and this feed unit is non-flame propagating as per IEC 60332-3. Additionally, all insulating and plastic materials are halogen-free and offer excellent fire resistance (as per IEC 60695-2).
