This digital input module is a part of the Modicon TM3 series of I/O expansion modules designed for Modicon controllers. It features 16 logic inputs and operates on a 24V DC power supply. The module comes with a removable screw terminal block and is suitable for mounting on a symmetrical 35 mm DIN rail. It serves as an extension to the embedded I/O of Modicon M221, M221 Book, M241, and M251 logic controllers. The module provides insulation of 1500V AC between the output and supply, and 500V AC between the output and internal logic. It comes with a removable spring terminal for electrical connections, and a 3.81 mm pitch adjustment for the inputs.

With an IP20 rating, its dimensions are 23.6 mm in width, 70 mm in depth, and 90 mm in height, and it weighs 0.105 kg. This product carries CE certification and complies with EN/IEC 61131-2 and EN/IEC 61010-2 standards. It works with Modicon M262, M241, M251, and M221 logic controllers. You can mount it on top hat type TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 rails as per IEC 60715 standards or on a plate/panel using a fixing kit.

The Modicon TM3DI16 expansion modules are crafted for easy assembly using a simple interlocking mechanism. A bus expansion connector helps share data and power supply when linking TM3 modules to logic controllers.
